Position Details

• Per Diem Nurse Practitioner role within the Sleep Medicine program.
• Provide primary and specialty-focused care including health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams and obtain/document medical histories.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs.
• Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic therapies within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
• Current Maine RN and Advanced Practice Nurse License required; DEA required.
