Registered Nurse – Per-Diem | Trude Weishaupt Satellite Dialysis Center

We’re seeking a compassionate and adaptable per diem Registered Nurse to support both our Outpatient Dialysis services at the Trude Weishaupt Satellite Dialysis Center. What You’ll Do:

  • Educate patients and caregivers on dialysis techniques
  • Provide direct patient care in the chronic dialysis unit as needed
  • Conduct assessments to ensure patient readiness and safety for home therapy
  • Monitor patient progress and troubleshoot issues both remotely and in person
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans
  • Offer emotional support and guidance to patients transitioning to or from home therapy
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development

This is a per diem position based at our Trude Weishaupt Satellite Dialysis Center in Queens.

Preferred Criteria:

  • At least five years of acute care RN experience in Dialysis
  • At least two years of chronic care RN experience in Dialysis
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • BONENT or NNCB certification

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • BCLS Certification from the American Heart Association
