This classification is a per diem classification. Incumbents are paid an hourly rate for actual hours worked, are not entitled to benefits, do not obtain permanent status and serve at the will of the department head. Permanent county employees are not eligible for this per diem employment.
Applicants must be willing to work any shift of a 24-hour period and any 7 days of the week, including on a holiday.
Applicants must be willing to work in any outlying county area as assigned.
Employment Standards:
18 years of age or older
Registered voter or eligible to register to vote
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience to perform the duties of the job.
