Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Subject Matter Expert (SME) one of a client for a 4–5 month contract to support PeopleSoft applications, business processes, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and ongoing application maintenance.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert for PeopleSoft applications and business processes./ Gather business requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend appropriate system solutions./ Support PeopleSoft application enhancements, maintenance, and production support./ Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve application issues./ Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis./ Support application upgrades, patches, and enhancements as required./ Participate in SIT, UAT, and regression testing./ Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and migration activities, where applicable./ Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, and process documentation./ Recommend process improvements and PeopleSoft best practices.

Required Qualifications: 8–10+ years of overall experience, including hands-on PeopleSoft experience./ Strong experience in PeopleSoft implementation, application support, maintenance, or enhancements./ Good understanding of PeopleSoft functionality and enterprise business processes./ Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, testing, and issue resolution./ Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills./ Ability to work independently with functional and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PeopleSoft HCM, Financials, Payroll, Campus Solutions, or other relevant modules./ Familiarity with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, integrations, or reporting, depending on the role's scope./ Experience supporting enterprise ERP implementations, upgrades, or transformation initiatives.
