We are looking for a skilled
QA Test Engineer
with strong functional knowledge of
PeopleSoft (PS) Human Capital Management (HCM)
modules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing Core HR, Benefits, Recruitment, and Onboarding processes within PeopleSoft, and be proficient in end-to-end functional and integration testing. Knowledge of Payroll, automation testing, and experience leading QA initiatives will be considered a strong plus.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive
test plans, test cases, and test scripts
for PeopleSoft HCM modules (Core HR, Benefits, Recruitment, Onboarding).
Perform
functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
to ensure system reliability and data accuracy.
Validate data flow between PeopleSoft and integrated systems, ensuring smooth HR process automation.
Identify, log, and track defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
Prepare detailed
test summary reports
, highlighting defects, risks, and quality metrics.
Utilize tools like
ALM, Jira, and ClickUp
for effective test planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.
Collaborate with business users, developers, and other QA engineers to ensure full test coverage.
Provide
leadership in QA activities
, mentoring junior testers and driving best practices in testing processes.
Contribute to process improvement by implementing automation testing frameworks where applicable (e.g.,
Selenium with Java
, UiPath).
Support
UAT cycles
and coordinate with client stakeholders for validation and sign-off.
Experience:
4–8 years of hands-on QA experience testing
PeopleSoft Core HCM modules
(Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding).
Strong understanding of
end-to-end HR business processes
and PeopleSoft data structures.
Expertise in
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
, test design techniques, and QA best practices.
Hands-on experience with
test management and defect tracking tools
such as ALM, Jira, and ClickUp.
Leadership experience
in managing QA activities and collaborating directly with clients.
Experience with
test automation tools
(Selenium with Java preferred; UiPath experience a plus).
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum methodologies
and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Functional or technical exposure to
PeopleSoft Payroll
.
Experience with
automation frameworks
and continuous testing integrations (CI/CD pipelines).
Exposure to
HR analytics or reporting tools
integrated with PeopleSoft.
