Koniag Emerging Technologies, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer I with a Secret security clearance to support KET and our government customer in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid position.

The PeopleSoft Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of enterprise PeopleSoft applications. This position works closely with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and technical team members to develop high-quality solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to established architecture, security, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards.
The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in PeopleSoft development and experience supporting enterprise Federal Human Capital Management (HCM) applications or comparable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. The successful candidate should have full software development lifecycle experience across multiple implementation and enhancement projects and be comfortable interacting directly with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
The ideal candidate will be able to support the following functions:
• Demonstrated ability working with business and producet owners to transform business outcomes into custom PeopleSoft application functionality
• Develop detailed technical design specifications and supporting documentation
• Assist with configuration of application software
• Analyze, code and unit test software (both new and changes to existing programs) from design specifications
• Test and validate that developed solutions satisfy approved functional and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation in accordance with organizational standards
• Provide production support for enterprise PeopleSoft application, including issue analysis, defect resolution, system enhancements, and root cause analysis. Support may occasionally be required outside normal business hours
• Provide Tier 2 application support by troubleshooting production issues and working collaboratively with functional analysts and business users to resolve complex problems
• Lead conversations with users and functional analysts to draw out desired business processes, translating into system designs
• Design and develop custom integration of API calls using integration broker, REST, SOAP services from external systems into Peoplesoft Federal Person, PAR, JPM, benefits, and tax modules
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of development experience in PeopleTools I & II to include Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Integration Broker; Web services; Fluid experience preferred
• 5+ years’ Oracle SQL
• 3+ years’ PeopleSoft Federal HCM, understanding of Person model and PAR tables structures is a must
• 3+ years’ Federal HR processing
• Must have an active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related quantitative field
• One year of experience in programming and development or 5 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of software
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
