We are currently seeking a PeopleConnect Enhancements Architect & Technical Lead reporting directly to IDS ERP Rollout Project Manager to join our Digital for Operational Excellence team based in Nanterre, Paris, France.

About the role:

The Enhancements Architect & Technical Lead works with the PeopleConnect Support Technical Architect and developers to ensure that system enhancements are delivered on time, meet appropriate technical standards and are consistent with the planned evolution of the ERP system architecture.

As Technical Architect he will provide design input to enhancements, particularly integration, ensuring that appropriate solution architecture is adopted and utilised.

As Tech Lead he will have oversight of technical developers delivering change for the Enhancement delivery team, ensuring that work progresses according to established priorities, providing technical leadership / guidance for the developers. In addition, he is expected to ensure that effort estimates for technical development are realistic and that delivery meets these expectations. The Tech Lead will be expected to work on such domains in PeopleConnect, such as finance, procurement, cost control, supply chain.

• Manage the delivery of technical development work for PeopleConnect system enhancements and new entity roll-outs.
• Define the appropriate system architecture for enhancements solutions.
• Provide input to estimation of technical delivery estimates
• Be in charge of hierarchical management of technical developers and provide expert technical guidance (both in-house and 3rd party resources). Manage a team of at least 6 people.
• Perform technical QA for enhancement developments, ensuring that appropriate technical standards are met.
• Work with the PeopleConnect Support Technical Architect to define and develop technical standards and an appropriate architecture road map for the PeopleConnect platform, including OIC, APEX and related elements of the system landscape.
• Review, approve and manage relevant system documentation (CM030s / MD050s / BR100s, etc).
• Work closely with PeopleConnect Solution Stream Leads and Product Leads to ensure that enhancement solutions use the appropriate technical tools and maintain consistency with the planned evolution of the systems’ architecture.
• Provide expert guidance on how business requirements may be best addressed with the technical tools available.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant compliance and change control procedures.
• Ensure appropriate records are maintained in the change management, service desk and document management tools (ALM, SNOW, etc).
• Direct involvement in the delivery of system enhancements, including (but not limited to) functional setups, personalization's, interfaces, customisations, extensions and reports, working within established development methodologies and standards.
• Assist with the provision of appropriate training / handover materials related to new or updated system functionality or software tools.

Essential:

• Extensive experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud applications or Oracle EBS development, with a strong focus on native Fusion technologies.
• Demonstrable leadership skills, with experience leading and mentoring development teams.
• Proven expertise in Oracle Cloud technologies or middleware.
• Strong background in solution architecture, designing scalable and secure Fusion-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and integrating Oracle Fusion or EBS customisations.
• Solid understanding of security models, performance tuning, and best coding practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and project lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable:

• Oracle Fusion certifications or relevant technical certifications.
• Experience in Visual Builder Studio (VBS), Oracle APEX, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Oracle environments.
