WHOOP is hiring an HRIS Systems Administrator to serve as the go-to resource for Workday and help build a scalable, reliable, and efficient HR technology foundation. This role will support the implementation and go-live of Workday HCM while owning ongoing system configuration, reporting, maintenance, troubleshooting, automation, and continuous optimization. You will partner closely with People & Culture, Payroll, Finance, IT, Business Systems, implementation partners, and business stakeholders to ensure Workday delivers accurate data, efficient processes, and an intuitive experience for employees and managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the implementation, testing, data validation, cutover, go-live, and post-launch stabilization of Workday HCM in partnership with internal stakeholders and implementation partners
• Serve as the primary Workday resource post-go-live for People & Culture and business users, providing day-to-day functional support, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating escalations as needed
• Configure and maintain Workday HCM business processes, organizational structures, job profiles, positions, notifications, eligibility rules, security roles, and related system functionality
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and data extracts that support operational, compliance, and leadership needs
• Manage ongoing system maintenance, including release testing, regression testing, configuration documentation, data audits, access reviews, and change-control activities
• Partner cross-functionally to gather requirements, recommend scalable system solutions, improve data quality, streamline manual processes, and strengthen the employee and manager experience
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate workflows, eliminate manual and redundant processes, and optimize Workday functionality to improve efficiency, scalability, data integrity, and the employee and manager experience.
• Proactively assess existing HR processes and system usage to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and continuous improvement, partnering with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2–5 years of experience in HRIS administration, HR technology, or a related systems role
• Hands-on experience administering and supporting Workday HCM, including business process configuration, organizational structures, reporting, and system maintenance
• Experience supporting a Workday implementation, deployment, optimization, or major system go-live, including testing and data validation
• Experience developing Workday custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields
• Strong understanding of core HR processes, employee data, organizational structures, and the employee lifecycle
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain a high level of accuracy, and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
• Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $120,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
