
People Solutions Consultant (PSC) is mainly responsible for providing integrated HR consulting support to Retail business leaders across Greater China. This role serves as a trusted consultor to managers, partnering closely with HR Business Partners and cross-functional teams to deliver practical, compliant, and business-aligned HR solutions. As a People Solutions Consultant, you will primarily focus on managing employee relations cases, supporting performance management processes, and providing guidance on organizational and workforce topics. You are expected to handle medium to high complexity HR matters, ensuring consistent policy application and a high-quality employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide end-to-end HR consulting support to Retail leaders on employee relations, performance management, and organizational topics, acting as a close partner and delivering practical, business-aligned solutions.
• Partner with managers to navigate complex people-related challenges, balancing business needs with policy, compliance, and risk considerations.
• Manage employee relations cases with strong judgment and professionalism, including conducting investigations, fact-finding, and driving timely and high-quality case resolution.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance stakeholders when required to ensure appropriate handling of sensitive or high-risk cases.
• Support performance management processes, including performance improvement planning, manager coaching, and consistency in policy application.
• Contribute to talent discussions by providing insights based on case experience and business engagement.
• Support organizational and workforce changes, such as team restructuring and employee movement, ensuring smooth execution in partnership with HRBPs and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with COE and SSC functions to support end-to-end HR processes and transitions.
• Maintain strong process discipline, ensuring accurate documentation, case tracking, and compliance through HR systems.
• Leverage data insights to identify trends, proactively flag risks, and contribute to continuous improvement in HR service delivery and employee experience.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with solid HR experience, preferably in employee relations, HR consulting, or business partnering roles.
• Experience in a fast-paced or retail environment is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders.
• A good understanding of labor law and compliance in Greater China is required.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese are essential, along with a collaborative mindset and high ownership.
• Experience supporting multi-site or retail operations, familiarity with HR systems such as Workday or ServiceNow, and experience working in matrix or multinational organizations are preferred.
