People Services Administrator

The People Services Administrator plays a key role within the People Services team, providing efficient and professional administrative support across the employee lifecycle. Acting as a first point of contact for colleagues and managers, the role ensures that people-related processes are delivered accurately, consistently and in line with company policies and procedures.

Working closely with colleagues across the wider People function, the successful candidate will support onboarding, employee records management, payroll administration, reporting and general people operations activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop broad HR knowledge within a dynamic and fast-paced international organisation.

About the role

  • Providing first-line support for employee and manager queries, ensuring a professional and timely response to People Services requests.
  • Administering employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, contractual changes, promotions, transfers and leaver activities.
  • Preparing employment documentation including contracts, letters, amendments and other people-related correspondence.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring data integrity across HR systems and personnel files.
  • Supporting payroll processes by providing accurate employee data and assisting with monthly payroll administration activities.
  • Coordinating new starter onboarding activities, including right-to-work documentation, system setup requests and induction administration.
  • Monitoring shared People Services inboxes and case management systems, ensuring service level expectations are met.
  • Assisting with benefits administration, annual renewal activities and employee enrolment processes.
  • Producing regular people metrics and reports to support business and People team requirements.
  • Supporting compliance activities and ensuring employee documentation is maintained in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance People Services processes, systems and employee experience.
  • Supporting wider People team projects and initiatives as required.

About you

  • Previous experience in an HR, People Services, People Operations or administrative support role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Experience maintaining employee records and working with HR information systems.
  • Good understanding of employee lifecycle administration and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering a high-quality employee experience.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, develop and continuously improve processes.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD accreditation would be advantageous.
