Rapsodo is a global sports technology company with offices in Singapore, the United States, Türkiye, Japan, and Malaysia. We build data-driven, portable sports analytics products that help athletes understand and improve their performance.

From Major League Baseball pitchers to professional golfers, our products are used globally across all levels of sport. We are looking for a People Projects Intern to join our HR Team for a minimum six-month internship.

About the Role

This internship offers broad exposure to HR in a growing, international organisation.

You will work alongside different members of the HR Team and gain experience across the employee lifecycle -- including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, communications, HR Operations and organizational initiatives. You will see how the different parts of HR connect, and importantly, how HR connects with the wider business.

Alongside this exposure, you will contribute to people projects including communication, employer branding, employee experience and organisational change. Many of these projects involve working beyond HR -- collaborating with colleagues across functions, culture and Rapsodo locations.

You will also get involved in the operational work that keeps HR running well. There will be information to keep accurate, activities to coordinate, people to follow up with and details that simply need to get done. We see this as important grounding in understanding how a strong HR function operates.

As Rapsodo continues to explore how technology is changing the way we work, you will also gain exposure to how the team is experimenting with AI, automation and new workflows. You do not need to be technically trained. We are much more interested in whether you are curious enough to explore what might be possible.

This is a hands-on internship. You will be expected to contribute, not simply observe.

What you will get Involved In

Broad HR Exposure

• Support work across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and the broader employee lifecycle.
• Work with different members of the HR team and gain exposure to the different areas of the function.
• Support initiatives involving employees and managers across Rapsodo.
• Develop an understanding of how HR priorities connect to organisational and business needs.

People Projects, Communication & Collaboration

• Contribute to people projects supporting our culture, employee experience and organisational priorities.
• Help develop internal communications, campaigns and materials that make initiatives clear, engaging and relevant.
• Support employer-branding activities, content and storytelling around life at Rapsodo.
• Work with colleagues across functions and countries to coordinate and bring initiatives to life.
• Support activities and programmes that connect and engage employees across the organisation.

Transformation & New Ways of Working

• Contribute to projects focused on improving how we work and the employee experience.
• Help identify friction, gaps or unnecessary complexity and explore practical ways of making things better.
• Gain exposure to the team's work with AI, automation and emerging tools.
• Research, test and experiment with new tools or workflows where appropriate, including agentic approaches and solutions.

HR Operations & Execution

• Support recruitment coordination, candidate experience and onboarding activities.
• Help maintain accurate employee information, HR data and documentation.
• Coordinate with HR, IT and other teams on employee lifecycle activities.
• Support reporting, process documentation and continuous improvement.
• Follow through with stakeholders and ensure agreed actions are completed accurately and on time.

The exact mix will evolve throughout the internship. Our intention is for you to leave with a broad understanding of what HR does, how the different parts of the function work together, and how HR can contribute to a growing global business.

Requirements

What We Look For

• Able to commit to a minimum of six-month full-time internship.
• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Sport Science & Management, Sport Management, Sociology, Anthropology, Communications, Marketing or a related Social Sciences discipline.
• A genuine sports enthusiast, with an interest in sport, athletes and sports technology.
• Naturally curious about people, cultures and organisations — someone who wants to understand different perspectives rather than assume they already have the answers.
• Very hands-on with a strong sense of ownership. You are prepared to roll up your sleeves, figure things out, follow through and see work from idea to completion.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment, and is comfortable when priorities move quickly or the answer is not immediately obvious.
• A strong communicator who can turn information and ideas into clear and engaging content for different audiences.
• Enjoys collaborating with people across different functions, cultures and locations.
• Organised and dependable, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Curious about technology and how AI, automation and emerging tools can improve the way people and organisations work.
• Brings ideas, energy and initiative — and understands that good ideas only matter when someone makes them happen.

What You Can Expect

You will not be confined to one area of HR or spend six months observing from the sidelines.

You will be given real work, broad exposure across the function and opportunities to contribute to projects that matter. You will work with colleagues within and beyond HR, including across Rapsodo's international offices, and gain a practical understanding of how a global HR team supports its people, enables the business and evolves the way it works.
