Overview of role

Location: Poole, Dorset

Hours: Part time (30 hours over 4 or 5 days)

Join our small but mighty People & Performance team and help our manufacturing teams thrive. You'll work closely with leaders and managers to tackle day-to-day people challenges, coach and support managers, navigate employee relations matters, drive engagement, and help create a great place to work. Leading a team of two, you'll roll up your sleeves and make a real difference to our people and our business every day. If you love building strong relationships, solving problems and making things happen, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with and support managers on day-to-day people matters, employee relations, performance, engagement and team development.
  • Help build high-performing teams through coaching, recruitment, talent development and succession planning.
  • Lead and develop a small People & Performance team, ensuring a positive and consistent people experience across the manufacturing function.
  • Drive continuous improvement by supporting organisational change, improving people processes and using insights to make better decisions.

The Right Person

We're looking for a hands-on People professional who loves building strong relationships, supporting managers and solving real business challenges. You'll be approachable, pragmatic and confident balancing employee needs with business priorities, while rolling up your sleeves to get things done. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, coaching leaders, handling employee relations matters and helping teams perform at their best.
