Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys combining people partnership, hands-on HR work and development of modern people practices? Do you thrive in changing environments and want to help shape the future of people experience and ways of working at Veikkaus? If yes, your next role might be as a People Partner at Veikkaus.

We are now looking for People Partners to join our People team. In this role, you will work closely with managers and teams across the organization while also taking ownership of selected People processes and development areas based on your background and strengths.

What would you be working on?

As a People Partner, you will support managers and teams throughout the employee lifecycle and act as a trusted advisor in both everyday people topics and more demanding organizational situations. You are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and know how to move things forward independently in changing environments.

Depending on your experience and interests, your focus area may relate to topics such as:

  • performance and capability development
  • compensation and payroll
  • employee experience and people processes
  • strategic workforce planning
  • wellbeing

Your work may include:

  • supporting and coaching managers in people and organizational topics
  • driving and developing HR processes and practices
  • supporting change situations and organizational transformations
  • collaborating closely with HR colleagues and business stakeholders
  • participating in development projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What we hope you bring

We hope you have:

  • previous experience in People Partner, HRBP, HR Manager or similar generalist HR roles
  • ability to independently support managers and teams in demanding people situations
  • experience in developing and owning HR processes or capability areas
  • understanding of business-driven HR and modern people practices
  • proactive, pragmatic and hands-on way of working
  • ability to operate in changing environments and drive topics forward independently
  • good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • understanding of Finnish labour law and HR processes
  • full professional proficiency in English

In addition, the following are considered an advantage:

  • experience from international environments
  • experience in organizational transformation and change
  • familiarity with modern HR technologies and AI-enabled ways of working
  • experience of M&A
  • experience of collaboration with employee representatives

The position is located at Veikkaus’ headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We work flexibly in a hybrid model with three on-site days per week.
