Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management.
  • Oversee HR systems and ensure accuracy of data entry and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, university policies, and audit requirements.
  • Handle expatriate staff logistics, including:
  • Booking flights and accommodation.
  • Processing work permits, residency, and visa applications/renewals.
  • Coordinating with government offices and external agencies for necessary approvals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for expat employees regarding relocation, documentation, and HR-related support.
  • Support payroll preparation by providing accurate data (leaves, attendance, benefits, etc.).
  • Maintain and update HR policies, FAQs, and employee guides.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (finance, administration, and academic departments) to ensure smooth HR operations.
  • Assist in HR reporting and analytics for management of decision-making.
  • Contribute employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
  • Reviews Medical Insurance Procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in an educational institution or multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices in Egypt.
  • Experience managing expatriate processes (visas, work permits, residency, travel).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and handle multiple priorities.
