Summary

Join Dolby Laboratories and support a world-class People function during a critical period of growth and operational focus. This temporary People (HR) Administrator role is designed to support HR Operations, including payroll and benefits administration, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, process discipline, and employee experience.

In this role, you will provide hands-on administrative and coordination support across the employee lifecycle while partnering closely with regional stakeholders. You will be a key contributor ensuring HR processes, benefits and payroll administration, and documentation are executed consistently, on time, and in compliance with local and global standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support across core People Operations processes for employees in APAC, EMEA, and the US.
  • Administer employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Manage new hire administration, including HR system transactions, documentation, workflows, and onboarding activities.
  • Process employment-related changes within HR systems, including manager changes, business title updates, organizational changes, and employee data maintenance.
  • Maintain HR data accuracy across systems including SuccessFactors Employee Central, ServiceNow, Replicon, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other People Operations tools.
  • Support payroll-related activities, including submission of employee data changes, one-time payments, referral bonuses, and compensation-related updates.
  • Prepare standard and non-standard employment documents, including employment verification letters, confirmation letters, travel and visa support letters, contracts, and contract extensions.
  • Manage employee records, document filing, and records retention processes while ensuring compliance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.
  • Support immigration and mobility administration, including visa-related documentation, visa tracking, and employment verification requests.
  • Respond to employees, manager, recruiter, and stakeholder inquiries through ServiceNow and other support channels, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Maintain operational trackers, dashboards, reports, and audit documentation.
  • Support HR reporting, data validation, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and other People & Places teams to ensure seamless employee support and process execution
  • Provide administrative support for global benefits programs, including the global baby gift program.
  • Support HR projects as needed (reorganization, acquisition, relocation, system implementation)
  • Ad hoc support as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in HR administration and/or benefits administration, with working knowledge of the employee lifecycle (onboarding through offboarding).
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across time zones.
  • Collaborative and service‑oriented mindset, with a genuine commitment to delivering a positive employee experience.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working with global stakeholders.
  • Comfortable following defined processes while also helping improve documentation and operational clarity.

Work Requirements

  • Ability to work from the Dolby Bangalore office at least three days per week.
  • Flexibility to meet regularly with stakeholders in the United States, China, and Poland, which may require working outside standard local business hours.
