Job Description

We’re looking for a People Operations Manager to join our People & Culture team in Belgrade.

AI Digital is growing quickly, and so is the complexity of our People Operations landscape. We work with employees and contractors across multiple countries and legal entities, using different employment models and external providers. As the company scales, we’re expanding the team to strengthen day-to-day People Operations and continue improving the processes behind them.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate employee data across HRIS and other People systems.
• Prepare and coordinate HR documentation across different legal entities.
• Support employee lifecycle changes, including updates to roles, compensation, and employment status.
• Coordinate document signing and ensure employee records are complete, accurate, and well organized.
• Support relocation and immigration-related processes, including residence permits and work authorization.
• Maintain HR trackers, reports, and operational data.
• Support employees and contractors across different engagement models.
• Partner with People Partners, People Coordinators, Finance, payroll providers, and other external partners.
• Contribute to the upcoming HRIS transition and help ensure a smooth migration of employee data and processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or HR Administration, preferably in a larger or fast-growing international company.
• Strong hands-on experience with employee administration and HR documentation.
• Experience working with HRIS or other People-related systems.
• Good understanding of HR administration and labor-related processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with employee data and documents.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.
• Ability to work from our Belgrade office 1–2 times per week.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting a varied, international workforce across different contract types, legal entities, locations and working models.
• Experience with HRIS implementation or migration.

Hiring Flow

• Screening Interview (45 minutes): initial conversation with a recruiter.
• Test Assignment (2 days): a task designed to evaluate your technical skills.
• Team Interview (up to 60 minutes): a meeting with your potential Team Lead and future colleagues to assess team fit and discuss role-specific responsibilities, expectations and workflows.
• Final Interview (up to 60 minutes): a meeting with VP of People & Culture.
• Reference check: we'll ask for 2–3 professional references from the most recent roles.
• Offer: if successful, you’ll receive an offer to join our team.

This role is open to applicants from Belgrade, Serbia.
