Job Description

The People Operations Manager is responsible for executing a consistent, high-quality end-to-end People experience at scale. ​

This role manages all day-to-day People Operations across the employee lifecycle including promoting high engagement and stakeholder management by implementing People initiatives and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The role is crucial in fostering a positive workplace culture and improving a global, employee experience within the organization.​

Supporting People Partnering and other People functions with the execution of all initiatives to optimize business performance including providing advisory support to other colleagues from the People Function including Managers around global processes/policies and formal employee relations in a timely manner, enabling a positive experience whilst mitigating business risk. ​

Your responsibilities:

• Manage the employee lifecycle, providing high-quality People Operations support from onboarding through offboarding, including contracts, employee documentation, HRIS records, benefits administration and employee queries.
• Support payroll, performance and compensation processes, ensuring accurate and timely data, documentation and reporting, and effective coordination with payroll and relevant stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on People policies, processes and employee relations, responding to employee queries, supporting formal and informal ER processes, and partnering with People Partners on the delivery of initiatives.
• Ensure compliance and data accuracy, maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring adherence to company policies and employment legislation, and supporting audits and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and People initiatives, contributing to People projects and process improvements, including the identification and implementation of AI and automation opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality and employee experience. Prepare People metrics and reports, stay informed on legislation and best practices, and identify opportunities to enhance People processes.

Qualifications

• Education & HR knowledge: Bachelor’s degree or formal training in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, with a strong understanding of People processes and best practices.
• Relevant experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a People, HR or People Operations role, with experience supporting employee lifecycle processes and HR initiatives.
• Technical & organisational skills: Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite, with Workday experience desirable, alongside strong organisational and time-management skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communication & relationship management: Excellent communication, customer service, relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
• Compliance & confidentiality: Good knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Professional HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR) or progress towards one is desirable but not essential.
