The Operations Generalist is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who helps keep Servant's People Operations running smoothly. Reporting to the Director of People, this role supports the employee and contractor lifecycle, talent acquisition, and administration of our core business systems.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for coordinating operational processes, maintaining accurate data, administering systems, and delivering an exceptional employee experience. The ideal candidate enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

People Operations

• Coordinate the employee and contractor lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.
• Maintain personnel records, compliance documentation, and contract administration.
• Support payroll and PEO administration, including state tax updates and employee changes.
• Coordinate performance review cycles, eNPS surveys, unemployment claims, employment verifications, and recurring People Operations processes.
• Maintain the annual HR calendar and ensure operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Drive employee engagement and foster connection through company-wide communications, recognition programs, wellness challenges, and celebrations.

Talent Acquisition

• Coordinate interviews, scheduling, and candidate communications.
• Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Prepare offer letters, onboarding documentation, and new hire logistics.
• Assist with recruiting operations, reporting, and process improvements.

Systems & Operations

• Administer and maintain core business systems including Rippling, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, and other internal tools.
• Provision and reprovision user access and maintain system data integrity.
• Generate reports, perform data audits, and ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Document processes, improve workflows, and support special projects that enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate logistics for internal meetings, offsites, and company events.

Requirements

• Required
• 2+ years of experience in People Operations, or Human Resources.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Preferred
• Experience with Rippling or another HRIS/PEO platform.
• Experience supporting the employee lifecycle and talent acquisition.
• Familiarity with Notion, Slack, and modern workplace technology.
• Experience with HR reporting, data management, and systems administration.
• Experience supporting performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude to improve productivity and workflows.
