Accountabilities:
The People Operations Coordinator - Global will support daily HR operations by managing employee requests, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring seamless execution of key employee lifecycle processes.
- Act as the first point of contact for People Operations inquiries through ticketing systems, email, and other communication channels while meeting service-level expectations.
- Provide first-level HR support by responding to employee questions, assisting with HR systems, handling employment verification requests, and supporting employee relations intake.
- Escalate complex HR matters requiring additional expertise or regional knowledge to appropriate teams and stakeholders.
- Manage onboarding activities, including processing new hires in HR systems, validating employee data, coordinating onboarding tasks, and scheduling orientation sessions.
- Maintain accurate employee information across HRIS platforms, payroll systems, mobility tools, and other related systems.
- Create and manage job requisitions and positions while collaborating with HR partners, finance teams, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Coordinate employee offboarding processes, including system updates, documentation, communication, and collaboration with relevant departments.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information through proper handling practices and data controls.
- Support compliance reporting, audits, employee file management, and HR documentation requirements.
- Assist with global People initiatives such as compensation reviews, performance cycles, policy updates, and employee training programs.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and employee support experiences.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience in HR operations, strong organizational abilities, and the communication skills needed to support employees across different regions and functions.
- 1–3+ years of experience in HR administrative support or People Operations.
- At least 1 year of experience using Workday or similar HR information systems for employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience using ticketing platforms such as Jira Service Management is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain HR-related information clearly.
- Experience supporting international teams or exposure to North America and EMEA HR processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, including functions such as filters, formulas, and lookup tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
