Job Description

The Business Analyst for HR Operational Excellence will play a key role in driving efficiency and clarity across HR-led, cross-organizational projects. This role partners closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable processes, insights, and documentation. With a blend of analytical, operational, and systems expertise, the analyst supports continuous improvement across our HRIS and broader people processes. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can flex across evolving business priorities

Job responsibilities

  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making.
  • Document and prioritize business and functional requirements.
  • Partner with HR and operations to maintain data accuracy and process consistency.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and workflows.
  • Develop supporting materials such as policies, presentations, process decks, and playbooks/guides.
  • Ensure documentation is structured, accessible, and up to date.
  • Support operational actions within the HRIS system (data updates, configurations, audits, reports).
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses based on evolving business needs.
  • Prepare clear, compelling reports and presentations that communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, progress, and issue resolution.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data/Information Systems, Analytics, or a different related field.
  2. Some experience with data analytics (student projects, internships, part-time roles, research work, etc.).
  3. Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Excel, SQL (comfort with learning more is essential).
  4. Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Familiarity and/or usage in AI tools (Chat GPT, Gemini, Notebook LM etc..) -
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify and present complex ideas clearly.
