Who We Are

Compass Health Center is one of the largest providers of PHP/IOP services in North America. Based in Illinois (Chicago and Northbrook), Compass provides crisis-level mental health care in a comfortable, outpatient setting. Our 14 programs are supported by 21 psychiatrists, 160 clinicians (LCPC, PhD, MSW) and nearly 100 administrative employees.

Our Team

The Compass Health Center People team is small and agile. We are constantly working together to solve tough problems by rolling up our sleeves and jumping in. Compass Health Center is rapidly scaling in our two Illinois offices and beyond, and are looking for a People Operations Analyst to help lead all of our back-end people processes in pursuit of our long term people strategy.

As a People Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in:

• Oversight of all HR systems including ADP, Healthstream, Payscale, etc.
• Leading, managing and refining all employee data practices and processes
• Leading the transition to digital employee files
• Leading HR and healthcare compliance initiatives including quarterly audits of our data and processes
• Researching and monitoring any changes in compliance requirements, as well as informing leadership of any changes that require modification to our policies and processes
• Leading employment compliance audits to identify risks and instances of non-compliance with laws and regulations
• Monitoring, tracking, and producing reports for key HR metrics
• Assisting with the management of the compensation process including execution of annual merit and bonus processes as well as maintenance of salary bands
• Partnering with team managers to maintain and update job descriptions
• Partnering with People Partners to provide support on day-to-day processes and projects

Key Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in an HR operations, HR analyst, or HRIS capacity
• Experience with managing employee data and HCM systems, ADP preferred
• Experience with HR compliance/policy
• Experience with HR reporting and people analytics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven analytical and problem solving abilities; proficient in excel
• Proven ability to take initiative
• Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines
