The People team plays a central role in the success of Costello Medical, helping to create a positive and supportive experience for colleagues throughout their careers at the company. As a People Advisor sitting in our Senior People team, you will be an approachable and trusted source of support for colleagues and managers across the organisation, providing practical guidance on a variety of people management matters and taking ownership of employee relations casework. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to colleagues throughout the employment lifecycle, while helping us maintain a People function that is supportive, responsive and aligned with the needs of our growing organisation.
This is a varied role which also offers exposure to a broad range of People processes and initiatives across areas such as employee engagement, wellbeing, development and talent management. You will be encouraged to bring new ideas and find better ways of working, including using technology and AI to streamline processes and reduce manual administration, giving the team more time to focus on what matters most: our people.
Key responsibilities will include:
Hybrid Working Policy: We believe that having face-to-face time in the office holds many benefits and is central to ensuring that the community we have created, where people have a workplace they belong to and feel part of, is never lost. At the same time, we recognise that homeworking can improve work life balance, reduce commuting times and costs, and provide the opportunity to juggle personal commitments.
Therefore, we offer flexible working arrangements that allow our colleagues who have passed probation to work from home up to half their time, measured across a 2-week rolling period. During your probationary period (normally the first 6 months of the role), you will be able to work from home 1 day per week.
