This is a really exciting role in an environment that has so much opportunity for a HR professional.

Reporting into the People & Talent Lead, North Asia, you’ll act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics for employees based in Korea and Japan. You will provide exceptional People support and make sure HR operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value. You will also have the chance to be involved in regional & global people initiatives.

Responsibilities

Responsibilties

• Be the HR point of contact for employees in your respective office(s) and provide world class employee experience
• Lead and drive recruitment activities, actively source qualified candidates utilizing different recruitment channels
• Execute and own all round HR transactional responsibilities including but not limited to, employment contracts and letters preparation, on & off boarding processes, payroll process
• Provide proactive consultation and direction in areas of employee/labor relations to market heads and managers, and employees
• Provide HR procedures and policies guidance to different internal stakeholders
• Work closely with the rest of the regional and global people team to localise, align, and implement HR processes, policies, and initiatives
• Maintain and ensure accurate record on our global HRIS
• Update, implement, and maintain company policies in accordance with local regulations and constantly flag out any legislative changes
• Work with Office Administrator where necessary
• Manage and look at ways of improving employee benefits with insight from market trends and internal needs
• Manage HR and Office budget
• Drive employee engagement and retention activities in partnership with regional People & Talent Team

Requirements

• 2-5 years HR experience in an MNC
• Having strong organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work
• Having strong sense of ownership
• The ability to solve problems using own-initiative
• Positive and cooperative attitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a culture with diversity
• Attention to detail
• Proficient using Microsoft Office software packages
• Korean Native
• Fluent English - Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening all Business Level
• Other language skills will be a plus (Japanese)
