About the team:
We lead all aspects of candidate and employee experience across eBay. We manage business performance, recruiting, learning and development, compensation, benefits, people experience shared services, and people tools and technologies. We also coordinate the ongoing development of the company's culture.
People Experience belongs to the global People Team and represents managers and employees company-wide. The group members specialize in EMEA people-related legal knowledge. They support almost 3,000 employees in 12 countries with processes and questions about the employee lifecycle.
As part of a dynamic team, you will provide a full range of HR support, including supporting the onboarding journey of new joiners into eBay.
What you will accomplish
- Address and resolve HR inquiries from employees, managers, Centres of Expertise (e.g., Compensation, Benefits, Talent Engagement, and Payroll), and vendors via multiple contact channels in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Maintain and update data to ensure accurate HR records (Workday), employee files, reporting, and compliance.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including the administration of benefits and leaves (such as sickness, birthing parent, and parental leave). Advise on statutory leave types and processes, handle compensation, meet reporting requirements, manage external vendors, and coordinate HR programs.
- Provide onboarding support to ensure candidates fully understand the process. Assist with contract management, background checks, relocation, and immigration. Ensure completion in Workday, benefit enrollment, and local administrative setup such as health insurance.
- Coordinate Right to Work compliance and assist with visa application documentation.
- Handle the termination and offboarding processes.
- Manage contract-related processes, including extensions, remote work, and part-time arrangements.
- Support both internal and external audit processes.
- Conduct new hire sessions and internal information sessions, such as pension enrollment.
- Build working relationships with key collaborators including Operations Managers, PBP’s, Legal, and external vendors ensuring the delivery of effective, efficient, and professional end-to-end HR service.
- Educate on local HR practices, employment legislation, and processes.
- Lead or support small to medium-sized projects, processes, and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Support onboarding of new team members and assist more junior teammates with aspects of their job, sharing guidelines with peers.

- Organized, innovative, and focused with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with efficiency skills to deliver to deadlines is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Experience
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience
- Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field
- Proficient knowledge of employment legislation in at least 2 jurisdictions
