Your purpose at Stanley/Stella

The People Engagement & Communication Lead owns the internal communication function end-to-end and drives the people engagement agenda across the organisation.
The role ensures communication is  clear, structured, and impactful, supporting a shared understanding of our culture and strategic priorities.

Beyond communication, the role brings culture to life through  meaningful experiences, rituals, and moments  strengthening connection, engagement, and a sense of belonging.

You will be part of the Centre of Excellence team and report to the HR Director.

Your role and impact

1. People Engagement

  • Define and activate structured engagement programs and key moments (e.g. company-wide campaigns, listening initiatives, cultural rituals, leadership interactions)
  • Translate company purpose, values and strategy into concrete experiences and behaviours
  • Partner with transversal teams to embed culture into day-to-day practices and key touchpoints
  • Reimagine engagement through innovative formats, storytelling and participation
  • Ensure communication actively supports engagement, while maintaining clarity and relevance

2. Internal Communication

  • Define, own, and continuously evolve the internal communication strategy and governance
  • Ensure communication is clear, consistent, timely and relevant
  • Design and manage end-to-end communication experiences across all channels
  • Ensure communication is inclusive, accessible, and adapted to diverse audiences and geographies
  • Act as the go-to reference for people-related communication across the organisation

3. Leadership & Change Communication

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on communication and engagement topics
  • Support key transformations through structured communication plans
  • Elevate leadership communication via frameworks, tools, coaching
  • Strengthen leadership visibility, clarity, and dialogue across the organisation

4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Bring in external trends, best practices, and fresh perspectives
  • Test and implement new formats, tools, and communication channels
  • Continuously improve how people access information, interact with leaders, connect with each other
  • Ensure strong coherence across messages, channels, and experiences

About you

Key Requirements & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communication, employee engagement, or culture-related roles
  • Proven track record in designing and executing company-wide communication strategies, leading engagement programs or cultural transformation initiatives
  • Experience in international or multi-market environments is a strong plus
  • Exposure to senior leadership environments is an asset
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner in a complex and fast-paced environment is a plus

Key Skills & Mindset

  • Strong communication skills in English and French (Dutch is a plus)
  • Good understanding of Belgian (Dutch) social legislation is an asset
  • Naturally positive, collaborative, and team-oriented
  • Able to navigate fast-paced, evolving environments with structure and focus
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to take both a helicopter view and drive execution
