Role Detail

Based in Sydney CBD, as part of the wider national P&D team, you will join the ‘P&D Hub’ in the Workplace Experience team. The P&D Hub brings together our core processes and supports the full employee lifecycle. The administrative support provided focusses on a variety of P&D related processes, systems, reporting, projects and general support.

Our P&D Coordinators operate as a single, connected cohort ensuring a consistent and high-quality service across the firm. While centrally aligned through the P&D Hub to ensure national consistency, Coordinators are intentionally aligned to the business, enabling deeper understanding, and providing opportunities for stretch and building deep relationships.

Reporting to the Senior P&D Projects Manager, and working very closely with the P&D National Manager and Centre Manager Sydney, key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first line support to all general inquiries relating to P&D policies, procedures, processes and systems.
  • Supporting the P&D Business Engagement team with the employee life cycle including change of employment letters, emails, system updates, communication between P&D and client groups.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of all employee data in Workday, including onboarding, employment changes and reporting, while maintaining data integrity and collaborating with internal teams/stakeholders to support accurate system reporting
  • Preparing and providing accurate and timely ongoing and adhoc reports as required
  • Assisting the Resourcing team onboarding new employees and implementing ‘new starter’ process and coordinating induction programs.
  • Ensuring that the administrative accountabilities, such as movements relating to the employee lifecycle are accurately adhered to in line with policies and procedures
  • Ensuring employee electronic files are accurate and kept up to date
  • Referring/escalating P&D related issues and inquiries to the relevant person
  • Assisting the Business Engagement team with a broad range of general P&D related activities e.g. Remuneration, Policy, and Learning & Development requirements.
  • Supporting the Business Engagement team with annual events such as performance reviews and annual salary review activities.

  • Experience (and interest) in an administrative role within legal, professional services or in a human resources function
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Solid and highly developed organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Professionalism and sensitivity when dealing with people situations
  • Demonstration of confident verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive, open and flexible approach to dealing with people and situations
  • Ability to form solid relationships both internally and externally with professionalism and ease
  • Qualifications in Human Resources or other relevant field of study with knowledge of the legal or professional services environment will be looked on favourably
  • General working knowledge of Workday or other HRIS tools will be looked on favourably
