The Opportunity

The People & Culture Generalist supports the execution of talent management, employee experience, performance management, employee relations, and learning initiatives across Thermo Systems.

This role serves as a key partner to the Sr. Manager, People & Culture, and helps coordinate programs that strengthen employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and talent development.

What You’ll Do

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist with employee relations matters through documentation, case tracking, scheduling, and administrative support.
  • Support workplace investigations through documentation, meeting coordination, and record maintenance.
  • Assist with leave administration, ADA accommodation tracking, and return-to-work processes.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support employee feedback initiatives.
  • Coordinate performance review cycles, talent reviews, succession planning activities, and promotion processes.
  • Generate talent development, engagement, and workforce analytics reports.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.
  • Coordinate and/or serve as back up to learning and development programs, leadership development initiatives, and mentorship programs.
  • Serve as back up to L&D in Administering the Learning Management System (LMS), training assignments, certifications, and learning records.
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and employee development programs.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Partner with managers, employees, and People & Culture leaders to support development and employee experience initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external learning and leadership development partners.
  • Communicate talent program information, timelines, and expectations to stakeholders.
  • Support change management and organizational development initiatives.

Quality, Process, and Governance:

  • Maintain accurate employee development, performance, and talent records.
  • Support compliance with company policies and employment practices.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee and investigation-related information.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of talent processes and employee experience programs.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources, Employee Relations, Talent Development, Employee Experience, or related experience.
  • Experience supporting performance management, and employee relations, onboarding, learning programs, employee engagement activities.
  • Experience facilitating training, workshops, or employee programs preferred.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Performance management and talent process knowledge.
  • Employee relations documentation and case management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms, and learning technologies.
  • Facilitation and presentation skills.
  • LMS administration experience.
