We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented People & Culture Executive to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our People & Culture department, you will serve as a vital bridge between our organization and our employees, delivering professional guidance and operational support throughout the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will operate with a high level of autonomy, professionalism, and discretion while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.   • Partner with department leaders to support recruitment initiatives, including job posting coordination, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and employment contract preparation
  • Manage comprehensive employee onboarding processes, including preparation of onboarding documentation, orientation coordination, and new hire integration to ensure a smooth transition
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable employment regulations in India
  • Prepare analytical reports on HR metrics, employee engagement, and organizational trends to support strategic decision-making
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and administrative support to the People & Culture team, assisting with workflow management and ensuring efficient department operations
  • Support the implementation of People & Culture strategies, policies, and best practices across the organization
  • Conduct training programs and learning initiatives that address skills gaps, strengthen leadership capability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Manage employee relations inquiries with empathy and professionalism, building strong relationships with team members and addressing concerns transparently
  • Assist in managing workplace health and safety (WHS) initiatives and Return to Work coordination
  • Participate in performance management discussions, disciplinary processes, and employee development conversations with discretion and sensitivity
  • Maintain knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices relevant to the Indian business context
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to customize HR programs and initiatives that align with organizational goals and employee needs

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Officer, or equivalent level role within Human Resources
  • Tertiary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, recruitment support, and onboarding processes
  • Excellent empathetic, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational abilities with proven multitasking capability and the ability to work independently
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing employee records and documentation
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated competency in handling complex and confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite, and online collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of Indian employment law, labor regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with performance management, training facilitation, and employee development programs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and prepare meaningful reports
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build positive working relationships
  • Experience in the hospitality sector or similar customer-focused industry (preferred)
  • Return to Work Coordinator certification or equivalent workplace health and safety qualification (preferred)
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, transparent, and supportive workplace culture
