About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic People & Culture Coordinator who is passionate about service, creative, have strong organizational skills and want to contribute to being an ambassador in creating a positive and inclusive environment for all employees.
What you will do
Employee Relations & Engagement
The Welcome Leader: Serve as the friendly, approachable first point of contact for employees and candidates.
Event Coordination: Assist with planning and executing key employee events, such as the Annual Party, Staff Appreciation Events, Service Awards, and Onboarding activities.
Manage and maintain the Recognition Program.
Create and distribute engaging employee communications, including newsletters, flyers, and other updates.
Maintain and update bulletin boards and Engage platform to share relevant company information.
Collaborate on initiatives to celebrate and appreciate employees, such as Employee of the Month.
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
Assist in the full recruitment process, including creating job requisitions, posting job ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, extending offers, and handling new hire paperwork.
Manage background checks and E-Verify processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Schedule and coordinate new hire first-day activities and facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
Keep managers informed of upcoming introductory reviews to ensure timely completion.
Assist with benefits enrollment for new hires, during Open Enrollment, and for Qualifying Events.
Share benefit updates with employees, including information on medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more.
Administrative Support
Manage HRIS (Workday) system, ensuring accurate and timely data entry for employee records.
Perform general administrative duties such as typing, filing, copying, faxing, and answering phones according to company standards.
Maintain and update electronic and physical records to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Address employee inquiries regarding employment, benefits, policies, and more while ensuring confidentiality.
Run monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including conducting audits to ensure data integrity.
Uphold strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information such as personal, medical, and employment data.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional demeanor with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Basic understanding of federal and state regulations related to HR.
Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
Enthusiasm for employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture.
What you bring
Ideal candidate will have:
Proficiency in the English language
Bi-lingual in Spanish
Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
At least one year in administrative position
Ability to work in fast pace environment and stay organized while delivering accurate results in timely manner
Knowledge of the following applications (preferred but not required) - (Workday HRIS, Canva Graphic Design application, Microsoft Office Suite)

This is a full-time position
This role primarily works Monday through Friday, although may be asked to work other shifts, based on business volume.
