Job Description

The opportunity

Benmax is a mechanical services company known for quality, innovation and a genuine commitment to our people. We operate in construction and manufacturing, where our workforce is direct, experienced and accustomed to getting things done. Our People & Culture team is a trusted partner to the business, working closely with leaders to shape culture, build engagement and support growth.

We're looking for a People & Culture Business Partner who can operate with the same authority as our workforce with someone who is equally at home in a workshop as they are advising senior leaders. This is a senior advisory role reporting to the People & Culture Manager. You'll be primarily based at our Hume, ACT office, with travel required between our local Canberra and Queanbeyan sites, giving you direct, day-to-day contact with the business across all locations.

You'll be the primary P&C contact for managers and employees, providing trusted, commercially minded guidance on the more complex matters that come with an industrial environment. Recruitment and learning and development sit with specialists within the team, so you can stay focused on advisory and employee relations work.
