Ready to make an impact? Join John Holland's North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) as a People Coordinator based at Albion VIC.

This is a maximum-term opportunity with an expected duration of 12+ Months. (Parental leave cover)

Working closely with leaders and employees across the Alliance, you'll support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to reporting, compliance, training, and employee experience. North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) consists of four Alliance partners – John Holland, KBR, MTM, V/Line and the client (LXRP), working together as one team to achieve shared goals.

Since 2017, NWPA has had a proven track record with the successful delivery of eight level crossing removal projects (17 LX) and several premium stations, with four projects currently in delivery and two in development phase.

Role responsibilities

• Coordinate training programs, compliance requirements, and professional development initiatives.
• Manage the Alliance's Undergraduate and Graduate Programs, including recruitment, rotations, and development.
• Facilitate employee inductions, support workforce planning and project mobilisation/demobilisation activities.
• Coordinate reward and recognition programs and assist with the delivery of People team projects and strategic initiatives.
• Support key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, probation reviews, payroll administration, and maintenance of accurate employee records.
• Prepare people reporting and workforce analytics, ensuring data integrity and supporting informed business decisions.

About You

• Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, with experience in a HR, People Coordinator, or Graduate Program role.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, discretion when handling confidential information, and a customer-focused approach.
• Understanding of the employee lifecycle and people processes across recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.
