We’re looking for a confident HR Generalist who enjoys being close to the business to join our Brisbane team as a People & Capability Advisor on a 12-month parental leave contract.

You’ll be the person leaders trust for practical, timely advice — across the full employee lifecycle. That includes employee relations and performance matters, recruitment and retention support, and day-to-day guidance that help our teams do their best work.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll partner with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end employee lifecycle support and help create a positive employee experience.
  • You’ll provide confidential advice to managers and employees, support employee relations matters (including disciplinary and performance management), and contribute to HR projects as needed.
  • A key part of the role is also providing remuneration and benefits advice and supporting annual remuneration review processes.
  • You’ll prepare employment communications and letters (for example, parental leave, jury duty and employment confirmations) and assist across the business where required.

What we’re looking for:

You’ll bring 5+ years’ generalist HR experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the judgement to handle sensitive matters with care. You can work autonomously, take initiative, and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines and agreed standards.
