About the job:

The HR Business Partner plays a key role in talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, and strategic HR initiatives across the business. Also, supports business leaders, drives people strategies, and foster a high-performance culture within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective deployment of HR strategies, programs and processes on the Site, translate Site business priorities into HR priorities; propose relevant solutions and complete related HR actions.
  • Member of Country HR Management Team and broader HR community by playing an active role in HR related transversal projects and continuous improvement actions; partner with centers of expertise and employee services teams.
  • Partner with business leaders, Site Head and Site Leadership Team, represent HR in the Site Leadership Team and during business reviews; Ensure local stakeholder management, particularly with the Social Partners.
  • Actively participate in deploying Industrial Affaires strategic initiatives by leading site level cultural and organization changes that drive innovation, performance and employee engagement.
  • Provide guidance to managers on people management practices, recruitment and people development principles, diversity & inclusion initiatives, talent and performance management approach.
  • Ensure consistent and fair implementation of the Rewards and Performance policies and practices in the site.
  • Work together with managers and HR community in defining and implementing actions in area of employer branding, candidate attraction, student programs, employee motivation and retention.
  • Manage local employer-employee relations in a fair and transparent way, promoting employee relations culture, values and behaviours; ensuring open and professional dialogue with local Social Partners.
  • Deploy strategic workforce planning exercise, discuss and develop short to long term view of organizational needs, issues, and plans in line with business strategy. Understands available competencies, able to help managers articulate future capability needs and propose actions.
  • Support headcount and personnel cost budgeting and forecasting process, ensures regular follow up.
  • Contribute to timely and high-quality recruitments through partnering with Recruitment Hub and Hiring Managers, forecasting hiring needs, following up results and proposing improvement actions when needed.
  • Implement dedicated actions related to the Talent strategy & agenda of the Site and partner with line managers and Recruitment Hub to map internal and external talents, build internal and external pipeline, and define internal and cross business career paths.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, ensuring effective Internal Control measures as well as internal Regulations and keeping relevant SOP & procedures up-date.

About You :

  • University degree in HR, Psychology, Sociology, Economy, Business or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in HRBP role – preferably in the relevant industry / international organization.
  • Understanding of multiple HR discipline's / functions.
  • HR experience on an industrial/production site would be an advantage.
  • Communication skills - Fluent in French and Arabic, strong proficiency in English.
  • Proven experiences in coaching and consulting will be valuable in order to effectively partner and influence senior leaders.
  • Strong business acumen, good problem solving skills, maturity of judgement.
  • Operational excellence & ability to deal with both complexity & efficiency.
  • Ability & willingness to learn fast and pick up new things easily, openness to change.
  • Ability to deliver results by working collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Windows).
  • Knowledge of HR systems (e.g.: Workday) is an advantage.
