A bit about the role:

• Act as the strategic People Business Partner for regional office leaders outside the UK, shaping people plans that strengthen business performance, customer outcomes, and long-term sustainability.
• Translate regional business priorities into clear, practical people strategies, drawing on specialist expertise across the wider People function to deliver joined-up, high-impact solutions.
• Lead the design and delivery of people initiatives that meet local market needs while staying aligned to Group frameworks, governance, and Aviva Investors’ wider strategic ambitions.
• Drive the regional talent agenda by building sustainable succession, capability, and inclusion plans that enable talented people to grow, contribute, and thrive.
• Build the distinctive capabilities needed for the future of the regional offices, using sound judgement to resolve complex people matters and escalate key decisions to the AI CPO when required.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Degree or similar broad-based qualification / experience would be desirable.
• Strong leader able to use specialists in OD, Culture, Performance, Talent, Learning and Leadership, delivering local solutions based on Group frameworks.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and planning skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work at pace and with energy and have an ability to work flexibly and adapt to ever changing demands.
• Ability to flex style and influence variety of different stakeholders, across multiple levels of seniority.
• Ability to challenge and positively influence others, at all levels and resilient to resistance from stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, coupled with excellent project management / facilitation skills.
