Job Description

Join Lovisa's People & Talent team and kick-start your career in Human Resources. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive administrator who is passionate about people and looking to build their HR experience. Whether you're currently studying Human Resources or have gained exposure through an internship or previous administrative role, you'll play an important part in supporting our employees and People & Talent team across a range of HR activities.

Fixed Term Contract - 5th February 2027

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth employee experience.

  • Maintain HR registers and trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.

  • Manage employee files in line with confidentiality and compliance requirements.

  • Prepare HR reports on key people metrics, including headcount and attrition.

  • Respond to enquiries through Freshdesk and the HR inbox, escalating when required.

  • Support employees and leaders with HR policies, procedures, and general enquiries.

  • Track compliance requirements, including work rights, visas, and policy acknowledgements.

  • Assist with performance reviews, engagement surveys, and recognition programs.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy across HR systems.

  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.

  • Provide administrative support, including meeting coordination and calendar management.

  • Assist with workplace relations documentation, note-taking, and follow-up actions.

  • Support People & Talent projects and other ad hoc activities as required.

About you

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • A passion for providing great support and service to others.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Confidence building positive relationships with a range of people.

  • Good administrative and data entry skills.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Professional and approachable manner.

  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information.

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Currently studying Human Resources or previous HR internship/administration experience will be highly regarded.
