Role Title: People & Learning Intern

Starting Salary: £24,479 (pro rata)

Location: Botanica Ditton Park (Hybrid options available)

Start Date: August 2027

Programme Duration: 12 months

Create Real Impact from Day One

At Siemens, we create technology that transforms the everyday. Whether you're passionate about tech, engineering, sustainability, or business strategy, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines — you’ll contribute to real-world projects that shape industries and communities across the UK.

Siemens Financial Services Limited (SFS) is a leading provider of innovative finance solutions to UK businesses and public sector organisations. With more than 250,000 customers, we have arranged finance for 90 of the current FTSE 100 companies and more than 50% of NHS trusts and local authorities.

What Will You Be Doing?

You’ll be based in our new Botanica office, with an expectation of attending the office 2-3 days per week. We encourage regular collaboration on-site to help you connect and learn from industry leaders, with flexible hybrid options to suit your lifestyle.

We’ll create a personalised training plan to boost your skills and set you up for a successful career in the human resources and learning sector.

In this role, you will:

  • Help drive varied and exciting P&O projects tackling key issues that affect our People, including the roll out of new processes and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with P&O colleagues to support the business through change and help to craft the future of work.
  • Research and analyse data to support current and future P&O activities.
  • Act as an ambassador for the P&O team while you network with a wide variety of colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
  • You’ll also have the flexibility throughout the internship to focus on topics and projects which most interest you.

What We’re Looking For

  • Studying towards a degree in HR or a business-oriented subject.
  • A clear passion for a career in HR and excitement about how data can drive future success.
  • A logical mentality with eagerness to learn and conduct independent research.
  • Ability to introduce fresh ideas and take initiative.
  • Enjoyment in collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.

Our Fair & Transparent Process: No CV Bias

We want everyone to have an equal chance to shine. While you’ll submit your CV, our hiring teams will not view your CV until the final stage of assessment. We evaluate your strengths, mindset, and problem-solving abilities — not just your background.

What’s In It For You?

Continuous Growth:

  • A dedicated induction week away to build your national peer network.
  • Structured rotations, continuous mentoring, and formal professional development.
  • A celebration at our annual Early Careers Gala upon programme graduation.

Flexibility & Wellbeing (Culture):

  • 26 days paid holiday + 5 dedicated paid volunteering days.
  • Subsidised gym memberships and wellbeing support.
  • Discounts on everyday retail, travel, and lifestyle spending.

Purpose-Driven Work (Impact):

  • Direct involvement in UK sustainability and community initiatives.
