BrightSky Australia is the social enterprise of Forward Ability Support and services the ageing and disability sector with medical consumables and equipment across Australia to the home, businesses and government. All profits go towards supporting Forward's community programs.

The Opportunity

Are you looking for a more varied and generalist role where no two days are the same? We're seeking a Full-time P&C Generalist to join our small P&C team to provide operational support across payroll, end-to-end employee life cycle activities and employee relations. This is a diverse and fast-paced workplace where you will gain true generalist exposure and make a real impact within an organisation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate payroll processes and administration in partnership with the Payroll Manager.
  • Support in employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes and investigations.
  • Respond to employee queries in relation to employment conditions, pay, policies and entitlements.
  • Manage the full employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding using Employment Hero.
  • Ensuring compliance to relevant employment checks.
  • Contribute to people initiatives and projects across engagement, learning and development and recruitment.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Minimum 3 years' Human Resources experience.
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or a related area of study.
  • Experience with Employment Hero or a similar HRIS.
  • Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards.
  • Experience in supporting payroll processes.
  • Very strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Full Australian Work Rights - there are no sponsorship opportunities for this role.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
