Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, DOL, Section 125, and IRS requirements).
  • Provide administrative support for People & Culture operations, including preparing correspondence, maintaining files, and handling routine inquiries.
  • Accurately enter and maintain employee information in the HRIS system in a timely manner.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including new hire enrollment and annual open enrollment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees with general People & Culture questions, ensuring a professional and supportive response.
  • Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and departmental communication for the Director of People & Culture.
  • Act as a liaison between People & Culture and other departments to support effective communication and teamwork.
  • Provide backup coverage for phones and reception as needed.
  • Support New Employee Orientation by preparing materials and serving as a backup facilitator when needed.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and culture-building initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
  • Assist with special projects, process improvements, and other duties as assigned



Qualifications

Education, Certifications & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2 years of administrative or clerical experience required, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
