As the People & Culture Coordinator, you will provide first level HR support and advice to NEXTDC; supporting the People & Culture (P&C) team across all aspects of operations, including systems and the employee lifecycle. 

As a member of our P&C team, you play a key role driving company culture. Championing the NEXTDC values, you will contribute to a positive work environment and strong employee engagement across the business. 

  • Process all employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, training and compliance, changes in employment and offboarding. 

  • Provide first line advice to employees, resolving & processing all enquiries 

  • Set up and maintenance of P&C Systems to ensure data integrity 

  • Provide admin support for our annual P&C activities e.g.  remuneration reviews, NEXTPOLL engagement surveys etc. 

  • Ensure effective delivery of P&C initiatives e.g. Recognition, Health & Wellbeing programs etc. 

  • Provide timely and accurate reports to P&C team and internal stakeholders 

  • Maintain the P&C Intranet pages to ensure information is up to date, including reviewing our P&C policies, procedures and documentation. 

To start as soon as possible, this is an initial 12-month parental leave cover.

Qualifications

You will ideally hold tertiary qualifications and have a genuine interest in building a career in HR, alongside prior administration experience within a fast-paced, professional office environment. Experience using Workday is highly desirable but not essential provided you can demonstrate strong capability in picking up new systems and technology platforms quickly.

Your meticulous attention to detail, amazing organisational skills and strong sense of urgency will ensure the P&C team runs smoothly and are able to focus on delivering an outstanding employee experience. 

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborative effectively with the rest of the P&C team and wider business. 

If you are faced with a situation that you haven't experienced before you will be able to think on your feet and determine a way forward. You do not accept the phrase "but that's how it's always been done," you are always seeking to improve processes and procedures.
