People & Culture Business Partner

Join a high-performing, collaborative People & Culture team supporting a national workforce across diverse operations. This is a true generalist Business Partner role where you’ll work closely with leaders to deliver pragmatic, people-focused solutions across employee relations, workforce performance, learning and development, and culture.
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will play a key role in delivering operational HR support and strategic initiatives across the business. This is a fast-paced, high-volume case management environment requiring strong business support capability and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll partner with leaders across both corporate and site-based environments, contributing to a positive employee experience while supporting business outcomes.
This position will suit a proactive, solutions-focused Human Resources / People and Culture professional who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative team environment and enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders.
Provide end-to-end generalist HR support across employee lifecycle
Manage high-volume casework including investigations, disciplinary matters and performance management
Partner with leaders to provide timely, practical and commercially sound HR advice
Conduct workplace investigations and produce clear, well-structured reports
Interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements, Awards, NES and legislation
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across head office and site operations
Support and contribute to HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate closely with Learning & Development to support capability uplift and training delivery
Analyse and maintain HR data reporting (Oracle/HRIS/Excel) to support decision-making
Travel to QLD sites as required to support operational teams
Proven experience as a HR Business Partner or Senior Advisor in a medium–large organisation
ER/IR expertise with exposure to investigations and complex case management
Experience supporting predominantly blue collar / skilled labour workforces
Confidence working in high-volume, fast-paced environments
Accurate and detailed reporting
Experience in multi-site operations within hospitality, accommodation or village environments, manufacturing highly advantageous
Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline (desirable)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across a national team
Experience working with HR systems (Oracle preferred) and solid Excel skills
Ability to deliver or support training and coaching initiatives
Collaborative and supportive national P&C team / global organization
3 days office based / 2 days work from home
