Job Description

The People Analytics Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable analytics that empower users to make informed talent decisions. The role also oversees the People Org data reporting portfolio, drives user enablement, and supports data governance and integration work.

  • Design, build, and deploy analytics products at scale (e.g., storyboards, dashboards, models)
  • Partner with People Analytics leader and Technology organization to plan and execute new data integrations
  • Manage the queue of new reports, dashboards, enhancements and fixes
  • Automate reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and support compliance deadlines
  • Monitor content utilization data and recommend actions to increase utilizations through content changes or training
  • Manage access requests, updates, and changes
  • Collaborate with data governance to define and document a metrics catalog
  • Build and deliver user training and instructional materials to improve adoption and impact
    • 2+ years of related professional experience with Bachelor’s degree.
    • 3-5 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining people analytics reports and dashboards in a self service analytics environment.
    • Proficiency in BI dashboard development and data visualization, with the ability to design intuitive, insight‑generating analytics products that support self‑service reporting.
    • Experience integrating data from multiple employee data sources and connecting insights across datasets through reporting.
    • Experience using analytics technology solutions to build and deploy dashboards, reports, and models at scale.
    • Strong partnership and collaboration skills, including experience working with technology partners on data integrations and with data governance teams on metric definitions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build clear user communications and develop training materials that drive adoption and impact.
    • Comfort managing access requests and maintaining data privacy considerations as part of analytics product stewardship.
    • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment that requires balancing multiple, evolving priorities.
    • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles to create clear, accessible, and effective reporting products for diverse audiences.
    • Ability to interpret content utilization data and translate insights into recommendations for enhancements, training needs, or content lifecycle decisions.


    Base Pay Information

    The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
    Pay Grade 18. $57,449 - $120,271
