About the role

**This is a temporary role for approx. 9 months.**

We have an opportunity for a People Admin Assistant to join our team to meet the demands of a growing organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain generalist HR experience and work in a varied, busy role.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of two regions of BFL whilst providing a high level of support to the People team. As part of the team, you will be the first point of contact for telephone calls and face-to-face queries.

You will be responsible for
  • Supporting a minimum of two sites across the BFL organisation in all aspects of administration liaising with liaising with the relevant People Advisor & Partner
  • Providing basic advice to Line Managers/employees regarding HR policies and processes
  • Creating and maintaining staff records, both manual and electronic
  • Supporting the administration of the recruitment process Right to Work requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of HR information
  • Support the production of management information
  • Producing invite/outcome letters, offers of employment, probation and confirmation of change letters
  • Production of reports as required
  • Supporting managers in the completion of payroll forms and HR request forms in a timely manner
  • Administration of the leaver process ensuring relevant forms completed as required
  • Managing all internal and external correspondence that comes into HR function
  • Stationary ordering

You will need

A high level of organisational skills and the ability to work with other members of team is essential, as well as being able to use your own initiative to prioritise the varied administrative duties of this busy department.

This role would be suitable for someone who has previous administrative experience, ideally within an HR environment, has an excellent level of PC knowledge including Microsoft Office and the ability to work to deadlines. You will be able to work well with others and communicate effectively. It is also important that you are proactive, have a keen eye for detail and respect the need for confidentiality.

Working pattern is Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 hours
