Virtual Office PEO Litigation Attorney (Remote)
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment litigation attorney to join our team as a Special Counsel in our Virtual Office, supporting a dedicated PEO client. This non-partner-track role offers the opportunity to own the day-to-day management of employment matters while delivering high-quality service in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a high-volume docket of employment litigation matters, including EPLI-covered claims, from inception through resolution
• Develop case strategy and draft/review pleadings and motions
• Conduct and defend depositions, and represent clients in hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials
• Supervise and mentor attorneys and legal staff
• Coordinate closely with partners, associates, paralegals, and shared support teams
• Maintain proactive communication with the PEO client, its clients, and the insurance carrier
Requirements:
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Seven or more years of employment law and litigation experience
• Active bar membership in good standing, with California admission required
• Experience working independently in a remote environment preferred
• Experience with Professional Employer Organizations and managing high-volume matters for a large client preferred
