About the Role:
This is your chance to turn lived experience into real impact.
headspace Hamilton is currently seeking a Peer Worker (Family and Friends) who understands what it can be like when someone you care about is struggling with their mental health, and wants to use that understanding to support others.
In this ongoing part-time role (0.8 EFT), you’ll work directly with families and friends of young people aged 12–25, providing practical, down-to-earth support that actually makes a difference. Whether it’s one-on-one conversations, group sessions, or helping people navigate the system, your focus will be on building confidence, connection, and capability.
You won’t just be delivering support, you’ll be shaping it. From contributing to family-inclusive practice to helping elevate the voices of families within the service, your perspective will matter here.
If you’re ready to step into a role where your experience has purpose and your voice drives change, we want to hear from you.
