Location: 9648 S Pulaski Rd., Oak Lawn Rd. IL 60453

Schedule: Part-Time (10–20 hours/week)

Envision Unlimited is hiring a Peer Mentor – CRSS to support individuals in our mental health residential programs at our Drop In Center- 9648 S Pulaski Rd., Oak Lawn, IL 60453. This part-time role is perfect for college students, lifelong learners, recent CRSS grads, and anyone looking to make a difference while supplementing their income.

What You’ll Do:

Engage and support clients in the ACT Program

Share personal recovery experiences

Lead group discussions and assist with treatment planning

Support recreational activities and Drop-in Center events

Provide peer counseling and help develop crisis/medication plans

EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCE:

What You’ll Need:

High School Diploma or GED

Lived experience with mental health and/or addiction recovery

Strong communication and public speaking skills

Must be able to drive or utilize public transportation to multiple locations

Must pass a background check

CRSS preferred; must be willing to obtain certification within one year

*Preference given to Certified Recovery Support Specialists. Must be willing and able to secure certification within one year of employment if not already a CRSS.
