Hampshire High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of a (.5) Peer Mediation sponsor with a strong knowledge of student mediation. Must be organized, flexible, able to take direction from the direct supervisor, and able to work with other activity sponsors.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience sponsoring Peer Mediation/Mentoring at the high school level is preferred. Must be organized, flexible, able to take direction from the direct supervisor, and able to work with other activity sponsors.
- Lead students for sustained participation and success.
- Maintain accurate records of supplies.
- Organizes and oversees all areas of responsibility.
- Communicates with the Athletic Director to secure facilities to ensure a safe environment for students.
- Communicates and plans with other sponsors to ensure the well-being of the student participants.
- Coordinates with the Athletic Director all scheduling and planning.
- Attends and supervises all meetings and events.
- Sponsorship of meetings
- Engages in personal professional development activities.
- Offer to students the opportunity to develop leadership qualities.
- Provides citizenship training.
- Affords the student body a part of the organization and administration of special activities of the school.
- Make possible a liaison between the student body and the school administration and faculty.
- Serve as a service organization benefiting the total school program.
- Other Duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
