Denver Health is currently recruiting for a full-time Pediatrician for our Wellington E. Webb Center for Primary Care located in Denver, CO. The successful physician will be joining a team of physicians and advanced care providers at, as well as a seasoned allied health and administrative staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in a public Federally Qualified Health Center setting, delivering care for a diverse patient population, and work well in an environment with a team-based approach to care.
The Pediatric and Family Medicine Divisions at Denver Health are part of a fully integrated network of 10 community health centers, 19 school-based clinics, and a Level I 525-licensed bed hospital with a mission of providing access to quality preventive, acute, and chronic health care for all citizens of Denver, regardless of ability to pay. Denver Health is affiliated with the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and serves as a training site for Pediatric residents and many other residents and trainees.
Physicians interested in practicing, teaching and leading a pediatric team in a dynamic, state-of-the-art health care delivery system are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities will include clinical pediatrics duties as required. Denver Health’s pediatricians provide primary medical care for infants, children, and adolescents modelling the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Bright Futures guidelines. Provision of direct well and acute care, management of chronic disease, and help with navigating childhood and adolescence are key components of the work.
