Job Description
The Department of Pediatrics is currently seeking an Assistant Professor to:
- Devote ≥80% effort to research during the CPRIT award period
- Establish a nationally competitive, independently funded research program within 3–4 years
- Publish high-impact manuscripts and secure NIH and foundation funding
- Train and mentor graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, clinical fellows, and instructors
- Contribute limited, mission-aligned clinical service in pediatric immunology and oncology.
Job Duties
- Research
- Provide safe, timely, effective, and efficient patient care at TCH Main Campus in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Role model ethical and professional behavior with every interaction.
- Supervise and educate medical appropriate in the care of Immunology patients.
- Educate and supervise trainees including fellows, residents, medical students, and advanced practice practitioners.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
- Board certified/eligible in Allergy & Immunology
