Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8 AM - 5 PM)

Location: Whitefield, NH and outreach sites

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician to join Weeks Medical Center, part of North Country Healthcare, in the beautiful rural communities of northern New Hampshire. This is an exceptional opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with children and their families while making a lasting impact in an underserved community.

Our pediatric providers enjoy practicing the full spectrum of outpatient pediatric medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment. You'll have the opportunity to care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents while promoting healthy growth and development through preventive care, early intervention, and family education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including well-child visits, newborn care, immunizations, and routine health maintenance
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic pediatric conditions
  • Monitor growth and developmental milestones while identifying concerns early and coordinating appropriate interventions
  • Provide preventive care, health screenings, and age-appropriate anticipatory guidance
  • Educate parents and caregivers on nutrition, safety, development, behavioral health, and disease prevention
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and treatments following evidence-based pediatric guidelines
  • Coordinate care with specialists, therapists, schools, and community resources to ensure seamless, family-centered care
  • Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient experiences and continuity of care
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws and organizational policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree
  • Successful completion of a ACGME residency program with board certification (or eligible) in Pediatrics
  • NH medical license or ability to obtain
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • 2-years experience preferred post residency
