Requirements:

  FRCPC certification in Pediatrics
• 
  Eligible for or currently holding licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
• 
  Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based pediatric care
• 
  Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 
  Interest in community-based pediatric practice

Compensation:

Fee-for-service, transparent and simple. You bill your own FFS; overhead is a fixed $600/day (in line with Calgary pediatric clinics), charged only on days worked and reduced for your first few months while you build your panel. Most pediatricians here bill roughly $8,000 gross per week on a four-day schedule — gross billings before overhead and tax; actual earnings vary with patient mix, hours, and administrative time, and provincial fees are currently under renewal. With the waitlist, a general pediatrician’s schedule fills quickly.

Academic Opportunities:

The clinic serves as a teaching site for medical students, family medicine residents, pediatric residents, physician assistants, and nurse practitioner students through established university partnerships. Participation in teaching is entirely optional.
